Upcoming Cure releases! B-Sides Box Set, Remastered albums, etc.

Taken from the chainofflowers website.

"The Cure will be releasing a 4 cd box set entitled 'Join The Dots - The B-sides & Rarities Collection'. According to Polydor, the release date is Oct. 21st (though a source close to the band says this is wrong), with a retail price of £24.99. No word on a U.S. release at this time."

And from MTV.com.

"While preparing to record a new album next month with noted rap-rock producer Ross Robinson (Korn, Limp Bizkit), the Cure are assembling tracks for an upcoming box set, expected to drop this fall. Coinciding with the set will be a reissue of all the band's LPs, including 1980's Boys Don't Cry, 1982's Pornography and 1987's Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me."

All of this seriously needs to happen.

Same here. Maybe will have to split it up between Eurythmics and The Cure until we can both afford them all.

The Cure's official site is pretty slow to update.

Check out the chain of flowers website sometime if you want the real deal.

Wouldn't these releases be the perfect opportunity.

That'd be great if they came out around Halloween.

Double fun!

It appears that these releases have been pushed back until January of next year. This makes sense though to celebrate their 25th anniversary in music. I just hope it all still happens.
