Funk you in the eye balls... I need some education,
In your opinion what is the SADDEST FUNK SONG? or Can a funk song be sad? (that's funk as in FUNK, and sad as in melancholy!) He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. - Albert Einstein

Maybe not the saddest, but sad:
"Have you ever lost a lover" or "Goodnight Eddy" by Bootsy Collins Futuristic Fantasy

Granted it get's funked up around the middle, but at that point it isn't really sad... MB to me is an emotional movement that starts and finishes on sad notes, but kinda laughs in places and yeah occassionally makes yo face scrunch up like JB. But anyway, other than MB? Is it true that funk by definition, CANNOT be sad? I'm still waiting on some Bootsy download to check out 'Good nite eddie' and 'Have you ever...'
