Coldplay is alright but they are a total AHA ripoff, even they admit the influence, listen to the last 4 AHA cds and u swear its Coldplay.

I watched the show - never listen to the radio, hadn't heard most of the stuff played, but thought coldplay was pretty much the only performer tonight that had any talent - and Johnny Cash sounded better than any of it.

And really didn't hear anyone all night that sounded different than music 10, 15, 20 years ago. The rock bands sound like the same old thing - pretty much all of the rap songs sound like the same beat they've been using for years.

Whatever, Coldplay is excellent.. Quit all this f*ckin "Wanna be" crap.

Actually I find that Travis and Coldplay sound pretty different, and both sound nothing like Radiohead nor Oasis. For starters the singers sound totally different, and if you took the time to listen to both I think you'd find that the music is not too similar either

Coldplay do not suck! They are a great band that just happen to play sophisticated, mature music. Too bad so many of you don't get it! I guess you'd all rather listen to 50 Cent in da club cause it's his birfday!

'Memorial Beach' is my fave of theirs. A bit funkier but still cool.
