Anyone here heard of Ephraim Lewis?

About 10 years ago, I heard a song on the radio called "It Can't Be Forever" by a new artist called Ephraim Lewis.
He was from the Midlands area of the UK.

Off the back of hearing the single, and reading a good review in a magazine, I went out and bought his debut CD entitled "Skin".

The album blew me away. Smooth soul grooves and a voice that seemed to have a never ending range. This album remains one of my all time faves.

Tragically, this was to be his one and only album, as he died in 1994 from a balcony fall in the States, robbing the music world of a great talent. I'm sure he would have gone on to become a major star.

I was wondering if any other orgers had heard any of this guy's music. If you are a soul fan and can ever get hold of a copy of this album, I would recommend you give it a try.
Little? Yeah, right. It might be little but it's loud
