Okay...someone, anyone needs to tell this girl to go back to her day job!!! OMG...her voice is probably the most out of tuned voice I've ever heard in my life. Who did she have to blow to get a record contract!??!? The girl is tone deaf!!

The song is really anoying...she cant sing and they stole the Diwali Rythm from Wayne wonder. But kids like it...its a bit like the tele tubbies:) uhhh ohhh

It's such a REALLY simple song (must've taken all of 30 seconds to write), but catchy. I like it, though. However, I can't help but think she's got "one hit wonder" written all over her.

btw, what's a "lumidee?"

Moonbeam hates her. I like the song though - it's very catchy. One hit wonder though, most def.

Lumidee's debut album entitled Almost Famous is actually a very nice refreshing change for what were used to hearing nowadays.

It's a very well produced collection of songs that features heartfelt and sincere lyrics and nice musical flavourings.

It's one of my favourite discs of the year.

The beat is actually a dancehall beat (which is why it sounds SO good). It was created by Lenky. Lots of so-called R&B and hip-hoppers are "borrowing" the dancehall flava...Look at R.Kelly...He's got a couple of pieces of trash with dancehall beats.

that dancehall beat is played out, i thought i was gonna hear the last of it (at least from Sean Paul & Wayne Wonder) then Lumidee did it and now Ol Dirty bastard did it, damn, give that tired played out beat sum sleep!

Anyway, my frined played it in the car 4 me and i thought it wasnt all that great, i kinda expected more, it was too commercialized and made up and there wasnt a personal spark on it. hmmm.

I really like the song, it's fun and i love 'diwali riddims' (the beat used in the song). there are always going to be songs that aren't the most memorable or significant masterpieces, just somethin to get you hyped up in the club.

It's dreadful. Who says a debut artist gets to be on a track that features no tonal instruments with an awful voice?

its was ok..but played out quickly i perfer the other two songs that use that beat..(seanpaul and that other dude)

It's very easy to see why people would dismiss this artist after only hearing the botched up video version of one song from the disc.

It's so much more than that...

Take a chance on it and enjoy the emotional honesty.

Funny, yesterday night Stefan Raab showed a clip of her singing the song life on TOTP in Germany. You know, his show shows samples from TV channels that are funny or embarrassing in some ways.
