Friday, September 5th, was a night all should have been downtown MPLS to witness one of the best shows put on in a long time! Though his set was a little short, it was phenomenal! Kip Blackshire played the second of two sets that night and sent everyone "Flying." This boy is gonna be large! We even caught a glimpse of Prince rushing to the front of the stage like a groupie. Kip made him wild out like you wouldn't believe. He even grabbed the mic a few times to join in on a couple of hooks! Way to go! Kip has one more show scheduled for this month. If you're in town, this is something you won't want to miss. 'Cause from what we all witnessed the other night, he isn't going to be doing club shows very long. Or at least I don't think he should be, along with everyone else who raved about the show.

I remember back two years ago, how Prince would say, "...and on key boards, vocalist extraordinaire, Kip Blackshire!" Man, he wasn't lying!
