Who Is The Man That Will Risk His Neck 4 Brotha Man,,,,,,SHHHAAFT(Riiight on!)

This is one of my ALL TIMES FAVE soundtrack ever(along with Roy's "Coffy"). The self-title song is cool but there're ALOT of betta joints in there. Its the least FAVE song from that masterpiece!

Ain't nothing betta than playing that record when you come from a looong day.

This my FAVE Isaac Hayes' record eva. Best jam in there is "Ellie's Love Theme" so mellow & hypnotic.

Who else dig this LP?

I love Soulsville from that album.
I was wondering tho´if anyone can help me with
this 1? In the movie "Shaft" there´s a scéne when
Shaft is going 2 see his exfriend Buford.
While in the building from 1 of the appartments there´s
a great soulful song with some female singers.
I never heard that anywhere & I could´nt see any credit
at the end of the movie so I really wonder who that is.

Ike made 2 excellent comeback albums in 1995 titled Branded and Raw And Refined...Branded in particular was good with one of many highlights including Ike stretching out Sting's "Fragile" into a soulful masterwork complete with strings and funky bass lines. That whole album was a true testament of his greatness. I think many people slept on that one though in 95'...

I love it. My favorite jam is "Cafe Regio's."
