What do you work out to?

What's your work out mix? What do you jog/run/warm-up/exercise/lift weights/burn calories to?

Post your lists here.

At the gym they always listen to ID&T radio.
This is a dance radio station, good for keeping the tempo.
But it's a shame that most of the things they play are total crap.

I love ID&T-radio! Finally Holland has a station that plays good music (I do not agree with your comment!) and what is even more important: finally a station without conceited dj's who think they are all that while they are absolutely nothing!!! And: no top 40 crap!

GO ID&T!!!

what are you talking about? During the day it is non-stop music, without some asshole trying to be funny and who is laughing about his own stupid jokes (as on other stations!). In the evening you have some dj-shows in which some dj's do some talking...about MUSIC!
What is irritating is the voice over every hour: 'Stay tuned for another 60 minutes of dance-music, carefully selected by ID&T! And now...THE NEWS!' that's just plain stupid!

It varies what kind of music I have on. The most important thing is that it's energizing and upbeat and inspires me to "take it to the maximum" lol wink . At the moment I'm playing a collection of 90's dance music (Culture Beat, Shamen, Haddaway, Cappella etc.) But I also have mixes of upbeat songs by Prince, Depeche Mode, Linkin Park, Queens of the Stone Age + + + . And sometimes, there's nothing better than some hardcore techno!!

When I run, I don't listen to anything. It seems very silly to wear headphones blocking out any other sound. Keep On Running by Spencer Davis Group seems a good one though.

Since buying myself a set of weights I've been thinking about what music to play when working out. It would have to be something motivating.

Hip-Hop gets me going, I have several mix disc for long jogs. For streches i like using electronic or ambient music. I usually start out my mx disc for jogs with midtempo songs and by the end of the disc high tempo banging songs, I find the more aggressive the lyrics the better.

Depends what I'm doing. If I'm on my stationary bike or lifting weights I'm listening to hip-hop usually: Nas, Mos Def, Gang Starr, Outkast, etc.-- something with a good beat and energy. When I run I don't like to listen to music though.
