Question to Michael Jackson fans

I'm looking for unreleased MJ tracks. I know he has nowhere near the number that Prince does. Here's what I have:

Someone in the dark
What More can I give
Streetwalker
Fly Away
Carousel

Anymore?

Most are kept well under wraps. Considering he had about 30/40 finished tracks for the Bad album alone, it's surprising that there aren't more rareties in circulation. I guess he's saving them for some box set in the future.

I'm not sure if these are released or not, but I know they aren't on any of his solo albums...

Someone Put Your Hand Out
For All Time
Mind is the Magic (Sigfried & Roy theme)
Monkey Business
Niteline
Trouble
Xscape

Hot Street
Niteline
Trouble
Xscape (demo)
Someone Put Your Hand Out (tour promo cassette single 1992)
There Must Be More To Life Than This (w/ Freddie Mercury)
Victory (w/ Freddie Mercury... hasn't leaked "yet")
Mind Is The Magic (manky song on some Sigfried & Roy soundtrack)
On The Line (maxi-single in Ghosts Box Set)
Shout (didn't make Invincible, was the B-side to the European release of 'Cry' and is a much MUCH better song)

We Are Here To Change The World from Captain EO has never been released and no proper recorded version is available, just a bad taping from the movie with all the annoying sound effects and shouting in the middle. Denise Williams recorded it herself though and her version is quite good.

Ah, you got there before me. How could I have forgotten about Monkey Business and For All Time? I love 'em.

Ooh, 'If You Don't Love Me' too, another one from the Dangerous sessions, but it's AWFUL!

Also, Serious Effect with LL Cool J.

Really? I haven't heard any of these songs except for Xscape. I can't explain why I know the titles. Probably from reading boards.

"The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) currently list three unreleased Michael Jackson tunes as part of their song database.

The songs are: The Pain, written by Rodney Jerkins, Harvey Jay Mason and Shawn Stockman (of Boys II Men fame); Pressure, written by Lashawn Ameen Daniels, Fred Jerkins III, Rodney Jerkins and Harvey Jay Mason and Seduction, written by Michael Jackson and Shelby Lee Myrick III."

There are many others, some of which surfaced recently (well, basically all those mentioned, most of them are from the Thriller sessions and the Dangerous sessions.)

But if u can list songs like Streetwalker or Circus Girl/Carroussel, u can name tons of them, cause those are not really unreleased.

Isn't there a different version of "Liberian Girl" out there. confuse Thought I read something about that. Love that song.

Sort of off topic...but. "In the closet" There's no credit for the female vocals on that song. Who was she? It just reads 'mystery girl' or something. I heard the Madonna, Naomi Campbell, and even Janet stories.. shrug Can one of you clear that up for me? Thanks! big grin

Princess Stephanie of Monaco. Naomi dubbed over it with her own voice for the video.

There a REALLY HORRIBLE video for Liberian Girl. But no different version, as far as i know (and i know pretty far, thank you).

So what do ya'll think? Will Pain, Pressure and Seduction be the 3 new tracks on the Greatest Hits album MJ will release later this year to fulfill his Sony contract. Will he sign with Dreamworks? With him recording for over a year now, will there b a new full album in 2004?

Someone should compile a list of all rumoured/(semi) comfirmed tracks and/or collaborations that didn't make the cut 4 Invincible. I think u'll get some 30 songs. Easily.

This was no rumor. Lenny played the track for an interviewer in 2001. I just re-read the interview. The song was a rock track called 'Another Day'.

Michael aso recorded 'Fall Again' before Glenn Lewis did and released it on the Main In Manhatten soundtrack.

There ARE Lenny Kravitz and Lauryn Hill duets in existence, which will probably never see the light of day.

We had this discussion before and somebody came up with a LONG list of unreleased MJ tracks. Can't remember who it was,but they listed a ton of outtakes from 'Invincible',including a song written and produced by Lauryn Hill called "This Is Our Time".I'd love to hear that!
