I thought it was fairly good.
I could've done without Beyounce's fake-barbie-doll-weave-wearin'-lip-synced act and 50's pathetic run-of-the-mill act. I also think they should've chose some else to present Duran Duran other than Kelly Osbourne and Avril Lavinge, Kelly looked like a star struck little girl and Avril, well, did she even haven'ta pulse or know who Duran Duran is?

Other that that, I thought it was good. MTV actally did something right.

What bothered me was how Justin praised every group or performer. First he gives props to Duran Duran, then to Coldpaly saying he listens to them everyday, and then to Johnny Cash.It's cool to have diverse taste in music but damn you can't love everybody.

i liked coldplay,beyonce,maryj,metalica...

as far as the rest of the show ..er..it was ok.

Ah, fuck off, Duran Duran were the boy band of their time. If you hate NStink then why applaud Duran? They had like one good song; and that one sucked.

Fans have stuck by them because their music is great. Both the old stuff and the new.

I guess I am alone in this but I Loved the entire show. Chris Rock was Great and just all the Performances were King. I think Beyonce, Christina with Dave Navarro,50 Cent,Jay Z, were Great. Madonna is still Trying to shock and well I didn't really CARE! The song was Really good but I'm BORED with Her trying to do the Same TIRED SHIT! Christina was So Much Better than Her! The Newer Musicians were Cool. I'm not into Metallica or Duran,Duran so I didn't Care. The Punk groups were Cool also. I was glad Em won,50 Cent Won,Missy won and Beyonce. The Show was a Success in my OPINION.

I only gave props to Coldplay, Duran Duran, Madonna & Britney for getting me horny, and Metallica. Other than that, it was mostly dominated by pop stars than f***ing artists.

And can someone explain why Good Charlotte won the Viewer's Choice Award?

Madonna's gig was cool but I thought the kisses were too much. A forced attempt at shockin' the audience.

Beyonce needs to get a new stylist and better hair. She really needs to call Janet up and ask her where she buys her hair.

I stopped watching this show after Madonna's opening performance.I have no interest in seeing a low-life,thugged-out rapper like 50 Cent,or the former lead singer of N'Sync trying to be all cool and hip.

But wasn't Madonna great??

This VMA craps gets worser every year. I only watched selected moments THIS time...Next year I probably won't even bother...
