Coldplay is a great band, and I dont give two shits if they sound or got inspiration/skills anythign from anyone.. they are good.. A Rush Of Blood To The Head is wonderful.. Parachutes doesnt fall too far behind.. | |

Chemmie, bad taste is like mold, it grows on ya.
Coldplay are a great band. At least they get better reviews in England than Prince. They make haunting music, and in no way sound like the awfully overrated U2. Chemmie would rather we listen to Train or Good Charlotte.  All you others say Hell Yea!!  | |

Just because a band was the first to be noted for doing something does not necessarily mean they were the first one to do it. Look at the creation of art in general, the history falls from far and inbetween. Its all about who made if first on stage. Alright there's a lot of bland bands from the UK; i.e. Travis, Stereophonics etc. I feel Coldplay fall in2 this category. But 2 some Xtent I feel its rather unfair 2 tar them with the same brush. Songs such as Yellow, The Scientist and Everything's Not Lost R beautifully written songs I feel. | |
