I thought the performance was going to be lame. But damn, it was hot. The sexual energy between Madonna, Britney and Christina was live!!! Those caresses were interesting and then when Madonna raised Britney by the chin and kissed her, that was it. That made the show for me.

Plus, the gender ambiguity angle was really great.

I thought there was going to be an orgy on stage.

Classic Madonna moment.

Madonna was the fucking bomb!!! britney CANNOT SING! DId anyone have an "Erotica" Deja vu??? I have to say this is one of the best VMA performances I have ever seen...

Performance was lame. Britney's voice was horrid and Christina put her to shame when she came out. Madonna looked so old standing next to them.

The only good part was seeing Mary J.'s face in the audience, lol.

I loved the performance, but Madonna was sooo off key

Well musically the performance was lame ... but as people often say Madonna became a star in an era where fans valued spectacle over talent.

That's still her forte. So I can forgive the music, the impact of her stage presence was incredible.


Speaking of Mary J's face, what about Justin Timberlake's when Britney kissed Madonna. He didn't even stand at the end like everyone else.

Ok, I just read an article that said there were 2 flower girls. One was Lola, the other was a friend named Honor. I must've seen Honor and not Lola.

Just as I suspected. Not that I didn't enjoy this little moment, but it's just another example of how desparate Madonna is for attention. Somehow I doubt that even this will garner her newer music attention.
