Old school Pop Cut of the Day The Stories's Brother Louie

ya'll know this song, this song was really the 1st cut to touch on the subject of an Interacial Relationship. great song, great vocals sadly this was the stories only single

released on "Chelsea" fairly decent label which released another good single by a good group called "New york city... thier only single was Im doing fine now"

so if ya know it speak on it... smile

louie, louie, louie, lou-iiie...i love this song, tho' i haven't heard it in forever. this one radio station back in my hometown used to play this all the time on some '70s show that came on every saturday night. biggrin

this track is the jam, no doubt about it. i play this song for one of the dancers at the strip club i work at... so i hear it usually about once a week. smile

oh yeah Finess. i remember this one. me and a musician buddy
of mine used to do a joke version of this...but we both
dug the song. the "louie louie louie..." hook is hard to
erase out of the mind.

i always thought this would have been a good song for
"rod "THE MOD" stewart.

(i also liked the string arrangement in the cut)
