Van Morrison ~ help with a song title I've lost the song title to a song I had on tape a few years ago and it is making me CRAZY. It was a very mellow song about driving with my best friend on the road or highway maybe ~ possibly sang about being in the country or similar lyrics. I remember a reference to stopping by somewhere for some moonshine or home brew. Can anyone help with this? I've gone through my extensive collection, checked the lyrics site and cannot find the cassette. Thank you.

Uptempo? Mid temp? Ballad? Do you know what year it was released? This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

?moonshine whiskey? ?town called paradise? ?bright side of the road? "a poor fool indeed is a man who adopts a manner of thinking for others"

It was a somewhat obscure song ~ very laid back. it was at least 7 years ago that I heard it and isn't on any of the greatest hits CDs. Maybe I dreamed it!

You are welcome. I don't know if these are even the right way to go. I just went by what you said you thought might have been some of the lyrics. "a poor fool indeed is a man who adopts a manner of thinking for others"
