Madge looks awesome, very cool ad!

i've been carrying a gift card since Nov. for the Gap and finally used last week at gap.com to pick up some jeans and got the CD thrown in as well. Package arrived at work today -- yippee!!! Bonus is United.com gave me triple miles for every dollar I spent.

I saw the Madonna ad. Gap, eh? That's not even approaching cool. And then I saw an ad for Gap Kids. They're dressing the children like what their parent(s) might wear. It's like the early 1950's again.

That whole ad is crap.

If you wish to look at it for it's superficiality, "oh she looks great"...blah blah, whatever.

But one minute she's all "rebelious" and "controvercial" in her "anti-establishment" with her beret and "anti-war" songs...then suddenly she's with one of the Corporate Creeps that sell bland, white bread, style-less, cheap, wear-out after 4 washes clothes pushing one of her OWN old songs...gosh, how crass.

I'm sorry but, it's just annoying. Annoying to the point that I actually don't care. It's all hypocritical crap and the Pop Sheep drink it all up. Whatever.

It's just that people should see how bullshity it all is.

It just gets on my nerves to walk by one of those Crap ads then see her all "Guevarra" anti-something. Please.

I thought it would be quite cool. Aside from the sweatshop stuff and the fact that she swore she'd rather die than wear Gap clothes some 10 years ago, I didn't think it would be too bad. Like the one with Juliet Stevenson or Orlando Bloom running with Kate Beckinsale. It's just the fact that Missy has to rap and mention the jeans. It's all rather tacky.

That ad wasn't even slightly cool. Gap are a bunch of bastards and whatever credibility Madonna has been striving for with her recent albums is utterly nullified by this crass advert. In my opinion.

I love the ads.But I wish they would show the longer version,and not the short edited version that I've been seeing.In the longer version,Madonna sings the entire first verse of "Hollywood"...

Then,Missy's rap is a little longer and you see them hug each other,each showing off their "bling bling" and finally,the dance scenes are longer and funnier.Missy has her own segment with the dancers,and so does Maddy.At the end,Missy does a split and Madonna says "Wait...I can do that".Then we see Madonna doing a split too,and Missy laughs.


Is this the version that you guys have been seeing?
