Now if I were an A&R person, I'd definitely sign up this vocalist to my label. I think her {along with Rachelle Ferrell and Cassandra Wilson}are three of the greatest female vocalists of the last 10 years.

This one is from an excellent album simply titled Dianne Reeves. Produced by George Duke, this song finds Reeves paying tribute to her grandmother{detailing the wisdom that grandma passed down to her}. This is a GREAT song that scored on the R&B charts in 87' and 88'. It is sometimes referred to as The Grandma Song".

Why'd you bring up that song. Reminds me of my Grannies.
