i'm way late on this...fischerspooner...

man, they/he/whoever is great! i love finding new music...especially when someone is coming to town to perform. unless, of course, i've missed the chicago performance. i would pay to see this show live! the music is so exciting...and i love me winmx for showing me the way!

by the way...thanks to downloading, i am now in the know about new music...all the naysayers miss the point.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! you guys must be joking right? they launched in London ages and they flopped BIG TIME! they were given a whopping £1,000,000 contract by the Mimistry of Sound and sold really badly.
i saw them on Top Of The Pops and all i have to say is that they were one of the worst things i have ever had the displeasure of seeing.
the guy can't sing, the music is a direct rip-off of the 80s New Wave scene and on top of it, they missed all sorts of cues on the show. the best part was when they were still dancing their silly dance routines and the track ended. priceless!

perhaps they were just a couple guys having fun, you know, not particularly caring what the viewers thought? i have a friend calld Peter and he is the craziest, goofiest guy i know. he loves to make people scratch their head and say "what...huh? is this guy serious?" his band makes good music and they have fun doing it but if you see them perform live you just have to laugh...and that's what he wants. sometimes its real healthy to not take yourself too seriously.

You know, I tried to get into these guys simply because they were trying to bring back that synth-pop/new wave that I love. But no they're not. They try to sound like it, but fall flat on their face. I'm still waiting to hear someone get the damn 80's post-punk formula right. Make Depeche proud , dammit!!!

I do like their cd...I missed their show in MPLS, but a friend who saw it said "don't see them live, just stick to the cd"

She thought they were very boring live, a lot of pre-recorded hoohaw without much else to back it up...

I'm interested to hear what others who've seen them think!
