Tina Turner - Live in Rio '88

Recently bought this on DVD and she turns the mother out!!!

I never realised how good a performer she is. Man she can sing!!! Her voice is soulful and powerful, and I was totally feelin her.

Let's Stay Together/Proud Mary is awesome.

Also like Private Dancer and What You Get Is What You See.

I read this show drew a record crowd at the time, something like 182,000.

I only bought it cos it was cheap, and it turned out to be one rockin concert.

Recommended.

That was a great show. nod

I went to see her during the "Wildest Dreams" tour. AMAZING! To say the least. 1 of the best shows I've ever been to in my life. She was all over that stage. Her acoustic set was mezmerizing. The crowd went crazy when she performed "Goldeneye". There was a ring of fire on the screen, as she lifted up on a platform, the audience only seeing her silohuette. Then she walked down the steps and blew the crowd away..Tina Turner, simply the best is right!
