I've been heard of 'Say yes' and I'm not particularly fond of the song nor the vocals.

Damn, you too? I kept hearing this on the local radio station, but always caught in the middle, and they never stated who it was at the end. I always thought that it was a great, sexy tune...perfect for those "special" times. I mean, I would start thinking about shit listening to it in my car, and couldn't get out for a few mins...had to let that "feeling" subside!
Anyway, I was listening to cd's at my g/f's sisters house last week, and she was like, "listen to this...it's tight!" I thought it was pretty cool, then when I heard the first few notes of "Say Yes," I was like, DAYUM! I was like. "this is on the Floetry cd?" I then listened to the entire cd...and bought it! It's tight...I was thinking that it was another wannabe neo-soul duo the first time I saw the cd, and didn't bother, but they be tight! fo real

No, in the Steve Harvey interview when asked he said it was from 2 black British girls named Floetry.

I like 'Floetic', but I'm not yet feeling the album as a whole. I need to give it a few more listens.

I knew it was out for the longest time...I just wasn't feelin what I heard initially. And, I thought it was just another wannabee ne-soul act. needless to say, I think differently now. And I like their version of "Butterflies" moreso ahan MJ's... wink

She sounds like she suffer from a high-tempretured fever in "Say Yes" esp the add-lips at the end.

They're alright, nothing 2 go home with tho. Just another sistas who try 2 sound like Jill Scott and this whole Neo-Soul shit. Neo-Soul artists all sound alike IMHO!

You guys miss the point with the neo-soul artists. Most of the time its the live performance that is tight. Floetry is tight live.

oh...you guys want more of Ashanti...my bad. shrug
