IMO, this is one of the finest if not finest{and yet it is underrated} song The Maestro ever made. Every thing we love about the original BIG POPPA is here. You have the rap at the beginning and the background vocals from his backup female group. The funk is there too, thanks to some lightweight pluckin on the bass. And of course you have those lush orchestration{with those violins and strings that White was known for}.

This is from his 1980 album Sheet Music. The title track to this album was tight too. Actually the album is not that bad{critics didn't care too much for it when it was originally released} My parents used to jam this album back in 80' alot.

I was listening to "Love Makin Music" on a complilation tape the other day and this track still sounds good 23 years later.

In essence, this is some great love{baby} makin music...

This is the sexiest song of all-time! I adore this song.It's everything you would expect from a Barry White song...lush strings,beautiful lyrics and gorgeous female background vocals.Released in 1980,"Love Makin Music" didn't become a huge hit,but it is my all-time favorite Barry White song.
