I'm gonna have to go back and analyze the lyrics, but I seriously doubt that there are ANY sexual references.I suppose you also think that "Beat It" has a hidden homosexual theme as well? wink

I think all of MJ's songs have homosexual overtones.

That's a joke, obviously.

Micheal Jackson
Human Nature

[1st Verse]
Looking Out
Across The Night-Time
The City Winks A Sleepless Eye
Hear Her Voice
Shake My Window
Sweet Seducing Sighs

[2nd Verse]
Get Me Out
Into The Night-Time
Four Walls Won't Hold Me Tonight
If This Town
Is Just An Apple
Then Let Me Take A Bite

[Chorus]
If They Say -
Why, Why, Tell 'Em That Is Human Nature
Why, Why, Does He Do Me That Way
If They Say -
Why, Why, Tell 'Em That Is Human Nature
Why, Why, Does He Do Me That Way

[3rd Verse]
Reaching Out
To Touch A Stranger
Electric Eyes Are Ev'rywhere
See That Girl
She Knows I'm Watching
She Likes The Way I Stare

[Chorus]
If They Say -
Why, Why, Tell 'Em That Is Human Nature
Why, Why, Does He Do Me That Way
If They Say -
Why, Why, Tell 'Em That Is Human Nature
Why, Why, Does He Do Me That Way
I Like Livin' This Way
I Like Lovin' This Way

[4th Verse]
Looking Out
Across The Morning
The City's Heart Begins To Beat
Reaching Out
I Touch Her Shoulder
I'm Dreaming Of The Street

[Chorus]
If They Say -
Why, Why, Tell 'Em That Is Human Nature
Why, Why, Does He Do Me That Way
If They Say -
Why, Why, Tell 'Em That Is Human Nature
Why, Why, Does He Do Me That Way
I Like Livin' This Way
[Repeat Chorus - Ad-Lib/Fade-Out]

The "he" in the song is his human nature. I don't see any bi undertones in this song.

All a matter of opinion then, I guess.

Actually, you're probably right but it could well have been intended as a double meaning.

Possible bi edit.

Album: Off the Wall

Song: Man in the Mirror

I cry inside every time I hear these lyrics. It's such a beautiful song that brutally contrasts materialism with poverty and makes you want to change the world!

As I turn up the collar on my FAVORITE winter coat, this wind is blowing my mind.
I see the kids on the street without enough to eat. Who am I to be blind, pretending not to see their need.

A summer's disregard,a BROKEN BOTTLE TOP, and A WORN MAN'S SOUL, They follow each other on the wind you know 'cause THEY GOT NO WHERE TO GO, that's why I want you to know.."

OMG. Chilling. This must have been from a Muse. Really how he uses the bottle top analogy to show how people are cast aside and discarded. Masterpiece, this song is.

With "Human Nature"..:

"If They Say -
Why, Why,
Tell 'Em That Is Human Nature
Why, Why, Does He Do Me That Way
If They Say -
Why, Why,
Tell 'Em That Is Human Nature
Why, Why, Does He Do Me That Way "

I believe he's quoting the ladies he would go out and dance with. Remember all of those late 70's, early 80's songs about being entranced by the clubs and dancing all night long? There'a so many songs about just that concept.
~
Jacksons:
Keep On Dancing
Blame it on the boogie
Shake your body (down to the ground)
All night dancin'
solo:
Don't stop 'til you get enough
Rock with you
Get on the floor
Off the wall
Burn this disco out

Maybe he's meaning their response to his dancing with them... and not taking it further because he's just in love with the music?
Oh shit, my hat done fell off
