I know he wasn't around in the 80's but just needed to say that. Quick was and is the man! west coast peeps add on... Rodney O was part of Egyptian Lover's Uncle Jam's Army before 87 and I thought that was he was asking for on this thread (pre 87 rappers) I'm totally down with Joe Cooley but I was focusing on the pre 87 Rodney 0. Arabain Prince was from the same camp. I did like his first solo album "She's Got a Big Posse" but his best stuff was with Egyptian Lover. As far as him being a good rapper, just was with Egytpian Lover, it was all about the beats my friend [This message was edited Mon Aug 4 10:11:52 PDT 2003 by intha916] Bringing Together Five Decades of R&B/Funk/Soul/Dance
