Dustie of the Day (7/29/03): Al Green, "Judy" s'been an awful long time since any "of the day" threads have been posted, sooo...
i just bought a copy of al green's let's stay together album today on cd, which kinna sux cuz i so wish i could find more of al's stuff on vinyl (besides his gospel worx). anyways, the majority of the songs on the album i've heard--y'know, "how can you mend a broken heart", the title track, "what is this feeling", all that... ...then "judy" came on. i am totally in love with this cut, ya'll. the string arrangements on this piece are hawt. speak your piece on this, if you know it...now if you'll excuse me, i'ma go listen to this on repeat for a while. i loves me some al.
