I have a bootleg from Rock in Rio and heard three or so new songs. They sounded pretty good, will this album ever be released.  WHAT IF THERE IS NO TOMORROW? THERE WASN'T ONE TODAY! | |

the new songs that have leaked (and there ain't many--maybe FIVE in total) have been pretty good. the BIG rumor right now is that he has redone the track "ebony and ivory" with LIONEL RICHIE. i laughed when i first heard the news, but then thought "well... hey, that actually might be pretty cool if it's done right!".  i mean hell, lionel and rob zombie pulled off a fairly decent sounding rendition of "brick house".. why not axl and lionel doing "ebony and ivory"?

The funny about that "Chinese Democracy" title is that The Offspring are using that for THEIR next album! I think the whole point of it is to offer the finger to Axl. Considering he's nothing but a big baby and treated his opening act CKY like shit, I say BULLY for The Offspring. | |

I'm not by ANY means a fan of The Offspring, but I think it's brilliant that they're naming their next album "Chinese Democracy."
I would LOVE to have a picture of W. Axl's face when he first heard that! No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

I seriously doubt that Chinese Democracy will be dropping anytime. I don't even think it'll be happenin' at all. Just like an actual "chinese democracy".  NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE. | |

Yet, unlike Peter Gabriel, Axl is irrelevant anymore. Peter Gabriel takes that long and puts out s fantastic album with a fantastic tour (with the exception of Barry Williams Show... i hate that damn song). "I'm here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubblegum"

I heard a rumor that the upcoming GNR album is no longer going to be called "Chinese Democracy", but will instead be titled "Roadhouse Garden".
