These two are getting on my nerves! Just watched it and I wanted to put in my 2 cents: I think they may well have a chance. They do have similar roots, there's something similar in their character, their way of speaking. I can believe that they connect. Probably a lot hinges on whether Jennifer has looked at past relationships and figured out what went wrong. If fame tore them apart, if there's something they did or she did, etc.
As far as J.Lo.'s image changes with boyfriends...I think girls do tend to change, let the significant others in our lives affect who we are. Maybe not healthy but it's a trap easily fallen into. When we spend time with someone...we go to the same clothes stores, our style affects us..little things like that have an impact...and the people who come into our lives shape us, the people who are brought into our lives by the person we're seeing. I also get the sense that because J.Lo. is such a powerful figure, she may be self-conscious of the fact. She may feel she needs to compensate by simpering a little, as many powerful women do. And being a pop star, needing to change image occasionally as the current business requires, I don't think she really has the firmest handle on who she is.
Anyway sorry I went on and on. Wanted to express how I see it.
