WildCard!

In my humble opinion, WildCard is the new melliniums Songs In The Key Of Life. If you have not heard the new Terrence Trent D'arby album check it out!

I have The Jokers Edition as well. The first edition was available on his website and had a somewhat different track listing. www.sanandamaitreya.com

Also did you guys know that the song Sweetness features none other than Wendy!

At Sananda's site http://www.sanandapromotion.com you can find "Wildcard Evolution" which sums up all the different songs of the different versions. The only thing that's not updated yet there is the recent free download of the 2 songs "Hail Mary" and "Sacred".

Agree - superb album! Not quite up there with Stevie's SITKOL or Prince's SOTT, largely due to the fact that it lacks the variety.

Wild Card is definitely his best piece of work to date, in particular the track "What should I do?" which is an instant classic.

Pagey

I absolutely LOVE Wildcard, but I don't think it's quite as good as Symphony or Damn, which is one of my favorite albums of all time. The main complaint (which is a VERY minor one) is that its a bit too long imo and some of the songs sound too simliar to each other.

Anxiety

I'd really like to comment on this thread, but apparently Sandanda Promotions is pulling an NPGMC and taking their sweet damn time in getting my copy shipped. I know one other person who's currently experiencing the same frustration. For those others who have ordered from TTD, how long did it take for you to get the goods?

I'm all for "free the music" but this kinda thing gets old fast.

I finally got to hear some of the album. Shalom is a beautiful song as is that other one that Wendy played guitar on.

I didnt mean that its just as good as Songs In The Key Of Life. I just meant in this day in time it would be the closest thing we have to a album like that for the New Millinium. Or at least compared to other stuff thats coming out.

I've been a big TTD fan from the beginning, but I think Wild card is his worst album to date (Yes, I do prefer Neither Fish nor Flesh!).

The new downloads are better.

I see where you're coming from Meloh9. I tend to agree, there certainly aren't others that spring to mind.
