I am so diggin this Michael Hutchence cd

Thanks to all that turned me on to this Michael Hutchence solo cd. I thought it was going to be trash released after his death but it is great! I like INXS but this is tight.

thumbs up

Grew on me too. Slide Away, how the hell was that not a single? Fantastic track. Glad to hear you are loving it.

Slide Away still breaks my heart everytime I hear it. I LOVE this disc, Michael Hutchence is one of the greatest vocalist of our time.

i told ya's it was killer!!

music

Michael was recording this album in 1996-97,
Slide Away was either finished or almost done.
Producer andy gill asked Bono if he would like 2 be on it (or bono asked if he could b,i 4get)...
& he sent him all th etracks.
Bono loved SlideAway & wanted 2 put vocals on it.

there is a lil promo video made 4 it,which was shown in interviews with kell Hutchence & Andy Gill around the time of release.
it shows bono in black&white & also Michael running, but im not sure where it is from.

it is such a personal album.
i dig Flesh&Blood more than SlideAway.

Let Me Show U & All I'm Saying r my other faves.
but the whole record is flawless in my opinion.

i played Let me Show You for someone & he said "is that marilyn manson"?
but he's a dickhead
lol

the record is rock with a sort of industrial vibe 2 it.
& a couple of funky moments,like "a straight line"

if u can find this, pick it up.
u wont b disappointed.

For those here interested, if you love to solo stuff, search out a track called "Fasination" by a band called Max Q.

Its a Michael Hutchence side project, and although its an album track, its my favourite track he has ever done.

If you can't find it, try and search for the lead single, "Way Of the World", which is also fantastic.
