I was reading an article about Ricky Martin the other day.It was talking about how his latest CD has bombed and he is now being considered a "novelty" act with one hit record.In 1999,he was on top of the world with his "Livin La Vida Loca" single.Since then,his CDs haven't sold that well,and he hasn't had any real hit singles in recent years.It looks like his 15 minutes are almost up.

I REALLY dont think he fighted with his label beucase it's princey.

I don't think Prince influenced his decision and I seriously don't think Ricky Martin studied the school of Prince and made a decision based around Prince's philosophies. why is it that on here everyone is copying Prince?

Oh come on...every star has their turning point! doesnt mean that they are following after Prince!! How many stars have been all sexed up in their music and then as they became more seasoned in the industry, they flipped the coin to spirituality? No one's being like Prince except for Prince!

Just to let you guys know, Ricky Martin's last album DID NOT bomb...it just didnt do as well as the record company would have liked...sound familiar? Anyway, as a result Ricky was forced into releasing the Spanish album Almas Del Silencio in April of 2003, the album has gone double platinum! That should silence the critics once and for all!

america might be the land of opportunity but, why should all music artists success be judged by this country. ricky martin was one of the biggest stars in the world before his english debut. his records were multi-platinum and he had one of the top singles around the globe with his world cup anthem before liva da vida loca was released. that just made it easier to break in the usa. that and the fact that he's HOT. there are other superstars in the world. english is not the only language. but, even english speaking countries have huge stars, robbie williams and kyle minogue to name just two.

Ricky martin had sex with best friend of mine he is man and he live in Moscow close to me. he one time talk to Ricky in expensive bar in france and he had sex with ricky that night my friend still has rickys pants and they smell very nice like lavender. sometimes when we get drinking at his house we take rickys pants and smell them and we laugh so hard i wet myself sometimes.

Back in the day, I used to see the inner Prince in everyone!

I'll never forget seeing singer Paul Young on some tv show (American Bandstand maybe?) performancing in a ruffled shirt, doing fancy things with his mike stand, and running across the stage only to drop and slide. He might've done a split or two, also.

Ricky Martin is sooo corny. The way he performs, how he looks, the way he 'sings'...its CORN at its finest.
