Just when I got excited about the whole so-called Jazz LP/Rufus Reunion LP I got SLAPPED STR8 ON THE FACE when I heard her new joint with Shaggy and some other female rapper yesterday. I mean WTF? I'm madly in love with this ol' chic but how the fuck could you go from De La Soul 2 some female rapper & Shaggy if you wanna go mainstream and last time I checked, she's an independent artist. Shouldn't she come up with what SHE wants and think the public should listen 2? In simple phrase "Non-commercial Real Music"?

Don't hound me now but that ought 2 make somebody angry out there, I hate to see Chaka like that cuz on the humble? Chaka Khan is way betta, much waaay betta, even words won't do her justice.

But then again, I hope its only a promo song, I hope it won't be included in the record

Is this song from her new CD,or is it just her making another cameo on someone else's album? I'm sick of hearing her appear with other rappers on their dumb songs,I want a new album from HER!

I loved what she did with De La Soul,
a pity they did´nt make an album like that.
She deserves a great album cuz she´s in a different
league than all of them other younger so called soul divas.
That was so obvious when she performed on that
lastest diva show.She whooped their asses & she

In 2001,Chaka reunited with Rufus for a tour.They opened for Earth Wind & Fire on the "Cool Blue September Tour".Around that time,there was alot of talk about a new reunion album with Rufus,but it hasn't materialized.Chaka has also mentioned a rock album(!!),a jazz album,and another pop/R&B album but none of this stuff has come out.She has her own independent label (Earth Song Records) but I think she's having trouble getting it off the ground.
