Outkast is kinda like Parliament/Funkadelic for the hip-hop generation

Not that much. He needs to stick to rapping. Singing a few hooks here and there is fine, but not this.

Ahhh...finally! drool

All I can hear is an updated version of...

"Dorothy was a waitress...
On the promonade...
She worked the nightshift...
Dishwater blonde...
Tall and fine...
She got a lot of tips..."

Prince, we need you for the remix! headbang

The album's been pushed back again to September 9. sad

And one of the singles has changed. Instead of "Church", it'll be "Ghetto Musik".

I don't care about the influence. The question is whether it's good or not? I think I'll like it. Andre is like me: a hip-hop head searching for more. Of course, I don't have the talent he has to do something about it. As for the voice, it doesn't matter if he doesn't have a great singing voice. Many of the greats don't. So long as the music/lyrics are good it won't matter.
