Bjork tour :D Who's been to one of the shows so far? What was it like? Who's going soon? I've read some of the setlists and I love the mix of songs. There have been several b-sides and strange things played. The closest show to me is in Toronto where she's playing on an island. Does anyone know what that setup will be like?

I went to the London Hammersmith show on May 24th, but had to leave about 30 minutes in the Bjork set...
I love Bjork's albums but she tends to put me asleep with her liveshows... The opening set/support set was a nice (long) surprise tho... Some dj called DJ Smojphace, who turned out to be Mr. Aphex Twin... But almost everyone there didn't like it, in fact they all hated it, much to the amusement of AT who finished his set and went out waving with huge smile on his face... Kickass! Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

I saw Bjork at the Hammersmith in London 2 months ago
She was out of this world (the opening act, was terrible, it was just some guys playing loud sound effects) Standout performance was "NATURE IS ANCIENT", "ISOBEL" (with the burning tree) AND "ALL IS FULL OF LOVE"

Saw here in Shepherd's Bush.
Now I love Bjork and Leila who also put in appearance, but the show was just too short and not enough mommentum was generated in the crowd. I think that she sometimes doesn't realise that a live show needs more than 'reverance' for the artist and requires some crowd engagement. The best concert she ever did was at the Union Chapel in Islington with the Brodsky Quartet - all acoustic - no amplification of any instrument or voice in a fantastic intimate venue. Show went on for ages with some amazing song choice - the end of the show was standout - 'It's oh so quiet' followed by 'Downtown'. My friend Jonathan and I went completely nuts. That was a concert Re: Leila, excellent keyboardist - listen to the end of 'Won't You Be My Baby, Baby' on Leila's 'like weather' as the inspiration for the end of South in N.E.W.S.

I saw Bjork at the Sonar festival in Barcelona merely a few weeks ago. As 4 some1 who isnt what U may call a 'fan', she blew me away. I really would pay 2 go and see her again. She had amazing visuals, fire, and a full orchestra. I would sincerely recommend seeing her.
She wore this outfit as pictured.. the setlist was: 01. Pagan poetry 02. Hunter 03. Cocoon 04. Jóga 05. Generous palmstroke 06. Unravel 07. Crave 08. Nameless 09. Bachelorette 10. All is full of love 11. Heirloom 12. Desired constellation (may not be in this place, I can't remember for sure) 13. Nature is ancient 14. It's in our hands 15. Hyperballad 16. Pluto 17. You've been flirting again (band introduction!) 18. Human behaviour notes: last night version of Nameless with Leila did screw a little - Björk's live sampled voice didn't sound, only her own live voice. towards the end of the song Leila introduced some noises but they weren't Björk's voice. for the first time in the three spanish concerts this year, Björk introduced the band. being an indoors place (very big) the use of fire was restricted, and at the end of Human Behaviour there were no metal trees to burn (but they had the rear row of kerosen flames and they used them in Jóga and Pluto). Enjoy it guys if U go. Im sure U will. ...Leila... I love Leila's Like Weather. I bought it after hearing good things about it, I dont think its an album U can instantly warm 2 on 1st hearing personally. After a few listenings however Ive come 2 realise how great a record it actually is. In some way I think its similar in sound and scope 2 Tricky's Maxinquaye, yet I think Like Weather is more broader musically. It has rich vocal talents on it particularly from Luca. My favorite song has got 2 be 'Feeling' though sung by Donna. Very Prince like. [This message was edited Tue Jul 15 4:06:20 PDT 2003 by JDINTERACTIVE]
