PM Dawn are completely underrated. Their CD F*&ked Music was outstanding. I would buy a new CD of theirs easily.

BULLSHIT! YOU HAVE FUCKED MUSIC???

Alright sorry for shouting but I want that album.

Anyway the word at pmdawn.net is the band themselves are holding the album back. For what reason, I do not know. Amnesia was a great single, some of the best I've heard from them in years. I really, really wish they'd release "Tru Believer", which was a contender for the spider-man soundtrack, but not used. It's up as a streaming file at the site I mentioned above. Also at the site is a stream of their cover of "Under the Bridge", which isn't bad actually.

I believe the album is simply on hold, while the Greatest Hits was re-released a few weeks ago. The record company probably wanted to drum up some interest first.

Hopefully the new album will be out early new year.

He isnt with his old label, he's with a new one, so the greatest hits would have nothing to do with the hold up. but yes, it will come out when the right time comes.

!!! There's a reason for that you know. Like, it's totally sampled and Tony Hadley even appeared in the SAOMB video. !!!

F*cked Music is one of their best produced albums... too bad the general public didnt get a listen of that cd.. there were 3 or 4 (IMO) that were perfect for the airwaves and no doubt in my mind would have been number 1's.
the unreleased disk, welll, that is just some deep underground stuff, there is one track in paticular that is one of the most beautiful tracks they have ever written, its just Be's voice and an acoustic guitar...
Not to mention Be autographed every copy of F*cked music.

it's not that nobody wants to share. Be put those albums out to a select few with the explicit instruction that he did not want bootleg copies/mp3s of the material out there. shame, cuz i've been down with pm dawn since the utopian experience and i don't have a copy of those albums either, nor do i expect to in the future.

cool. i didn't know that they were leaked from the source. I know how that can go. I had the same thing happen with City Lights before it hit the boot market. Thanks for the info

Sdldawn- Jesus Wept is the Cd that really got me into PM Dawn. I love that disc. I have e-mailed with Prince Be from PM Dawn a few times. He's a nice dude. Very underrated musician!

I think his lyrics are really beautiful, and he is an excellent producer. Jesus Wept is filled with beautiful trax, and Dearest Christian is also a beautiful album.. the tracks Broken and Untitled are simply two good examples of how beautiful their music is. Untitled (last track on Dearest Christian) has like 3 transitions and tops out at about 8 minutes.. simply beautiful stuff.

I couldn't agree more! I saw them in Minneapolis right before F*&cked Music was released. They were awesome and played several songs from F'd Music. There was only about 20 people there (and I brought about 6 of them). Prince Be was super nice!
