I've got faith playing on my Cd player right now and since this cd came out i've always wondered what the "monkey" is --why do i have to share my baby with a monkey? I figured this is the best place to ask!!

The song was indeed about an unnamed drug user (not Boy George, although the timing fits).

If you haven't got it/heard it, get the Monkey 12" remix. Its a jam and lewis production and it makes the album version sound weak. Its a fantastic 80's remix.

But while you have faith in the player, crank up Kissing A Fool! Superb song. Thats were I'd like to hear Prince go, Jazz into swing!
