Yep. It has an old school b-boy feel to it. Still not sure about the slow jam dropped right in the middle or the voice over. Might take some getting used to but at least it's not hip hop 101 like everyone else seems to give us now days.

I still say it's over. Outkast is but a lone voice in the vast wasteland that is hip-hop in the 21st century.

Yea I do go back that far with hip hop but I'm comparing it to hip hop of the late 80's early 90's. PE, Digital Underground, Tribe Called Quest, De La, west coast G funk and much much more. You going to honestly tell me this shit today holds a candle to that era?

hey don't leave it there. If you are going to tell me I'm out of touch, then back up what you say. Go on and tell me how Emenim, 50 Cent, Ja Fool, Comman, Nelly or any of these other cats are moving forward from what was before them. If anything they have gone backwords.

Okay, maybe you're into arguing with people that you don't know over a message board, but I have better things to do with my time. rolleyes It's really not that serious, but if you want to believe that, go right ahead. hmph!

It's not arguing it's called backing up the shit you post here. No matter if I agreed with you or not I would still respect your opinion more than just making a smart ass comment directed at me then saying you aren't going to "argue" with someone on a message board. Since you have "better things to do with your time" you should have just done some of those things instead of comming here and running off at the mouth.

Okay. I misinterpreted your first post. I have no problem admitting that I was wrong. I didn't realize that you were actually praising Kast for what they were doing. I thought you were saying that they are, like many hip-hop artists are, a part of the "vast wasteland." My mistake. For a minute I was about to roast you because it sounded as if you were contradicting yourself! lol

Well, this one didn't instantly blow me away like B.O.B. did but maybe it will grow on me. Is this the lead single?

No problem and thanks for your last post. I'm not one to fuss on these boards but I also don't like shit being talked to me either. It was just a misunderstanding from the look of it. Sorry I came at you crazy in my last post but it was "pre-lunch" and I must have been a little light headed lol

I agree. Not too crazy about the slow parts right now. Might like it better with repeated listenings.

The first single for Big Boi is "Church", and Andre is "She Lives in my Lap" with Rosario Dawson. The album is set for Aug 26 with a limited edition version that comes with a DVD.

Isn't the Outkast song another proof that Prince has to hang it up?

Five best hip hop groups/rappers right now:

1.Outkast

2.Common

3.Talib Queli

4.Roots

5.Cherrywine.

Outkast is the only thing in hip hop these days I can stand besides the occasional Snoop Dogg track. Fun song...
