MJ did his thing!!! I always thought that he patterned his dancing more so off of Jackie Wilson, though. I can definitely see James's influence on MJ (especially at the end of his little 20-sec dance spotlight). But I guess he really does look up to JB seeing as everytime they showcase Micheal's career, they play that Jackson 5 audition tape of him imitating James.

Everyone keeps asking where was Prince. Prince would never show up at anything where Michael was given the honour of saluting James Brown. If Prince wasn't asked to do it, he sure as hell isn't going to show up to watch MJ do it.

Well, MJ has had a lot of influences, and I am glad that he took the time to give props to James Brown.

Prince should do the same.
