ANy pink floyd fans on here? Got a question I've got roger waters' Cd "IN the flesh" playing (live CD released in 2000) and at the end of Wish you were here, he goes "How I wish *they* were here." I couldn't help but think of his bitter exit out of the band and thought maybe he's starting to have regrets? Not like his solo career really took off... Let the rain come down...17 days.... | |

I don't think you can make much of that. "they" could represent all the people in his life who he missed, who had gone away from him. they could mean anybody or everybody who he misses. Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop. | |

I've followed Pink Floyd as long as I've followed Prince. 22 years in all. Roger Waters was more than likely talking about his Father, and grandfather.
