was the worst set I have ever seen. Her band never got it together, they would stop and start songs with inexplicable 808 drum machine interludes, performed few complete songs, and went off on an extended soliloquy about Lord-knows-what. The highlights of the show were the DJ and Common joining her for the last song "Love of My Life."

I was disappointed because Badu is one of my favorite artists. Maybe she had an off night.

I was disappointed that I waited in line for 3 hours and had to sit in the grass anyway. Common made it alright, though. When Erykah was covering Ice Cube was pretty cool as well. You know considering Ice Cube and Common once had beef. Since it was free, I'm not going to complain at all!!

wow...must have been an off night. I've seen her a couple of times and the shows were WONDERFUL.

I don't disagree with either one of you, but now I'm less likely to shell out money for a Badu concert. Even if the concert is free, you don't want to half-step because you cost yourself money.
