What excuse can i give my wife to not go to the Bon Jovi gig 2night?.

Yep, 3 hours togo, worst still the gig is at my blessed football ground [old trafford], that will be VERY painful to watch i.e. thousands of Jovi heads crushing our pitch!. What excuse i give to get out of it. For the record my wife has supported my Prince habit for years , even came out to the first celebration with me.

Don't be selfish. Go. Check out the fans and laugh (but not at your wife).

Well I saw them at Hyde Park last Saturday. I haven't bought any of their albums since the Crossroads GH and not heard any since These Days. It didn't matter, The new songs sounded the same anyway. At one point I was singing along to 'In These Arms' when it was supposedly a compleetly different song.

Nice to see Ray Davies pulled out for a session of 'Lola' complete with audience participation, and Jon brought out his 3 daughters for a bit of a dance. Great live voice from him as usual, but the concert itself, aside from the novelty parts and funny cover versions (Status Quo's 'Rockin All Over The World, Dancing In The Street and Lulu's version of Shout), it was a tad dull. I saw them at Wembley Stadium in 1995 at they were much better then.
