I've been listening 2 these 2 LPs non-stop this week!

Ray Saadiq and his "Instant Vintage" makes me dig into Benjamen Wright's old stuff, the man is one helluva a sting arranger.

Quik and his "Balance & Options" is just bad bad baaad, this and weak "Under The Influence" are the only LPs I own from the brotha. The best songs in there are "Well", "Roger's Groove", "Quick's groove" and the funky "Do I Love Her?".

I'd love it if both of them niggas do a WHOLE LP 2ghether, just 2ghether! Ray is doing the whole musical arrangments thang with Ben Wright and his band and Quik is doing his damn thang on the production.

I just feel bad that Quik will retire
