I can't stand what is on the radio and mtv. I don't really watch but i have a sister who does. So i see these videos and hear songs on the radio. The music is sooo bad. What happened? I want to hear real good music. Somebody help!!!

i know the feeling.
im 18 so i pretty much missed all the excellent music.im in love with people like mj, prince and bruce springsteen. all them are over 40, so i missed most of their careers, the tours, the new album releases, the hype.
i do realise that they are still making music, but i feel so behind and i can never go back to be apart of it all.

i never listen to the raido. it all sounds the same. there are a few ok artists out there, eminem and justin are good.
but in comparison to all the other shite that is going around, its depressing.

what the hell has happened???
Noone is using live bands anymore... I'll give The Roots credit tho.
Where are the MUSICIANS inspired by Ohio Players, Earth Wind and Fire, Tower Of Power... heck even James Brown.

I'm really sick of rap and computer generated R&B..
There's no REAL music anymore.

Real drums, REAL bass, not the bullshit that kids have to vibrate their cars with..Where's the fucking horn section...ect ect..

There are no REAL bands out there anymore and you totally have to respect Prince for his REAL musicianship.

( from the 60's, 70's... ) Us older ppl know whats all good & cool as the youngsters wouldnt be copying & doing these "gems" ova & ova.
