What new/recent song are you playing over and over again. I love UNWELL! I don't normally listen to Matchbox Twenty
But I can't get this song out of my head. I love the lyrics. Every intense, introspective artist-type personality (I'm a writer, by the way) feels like this sometime. "I'm not crazy; I just a little unwell. I know, right now you can't tell... " * Also, I love Mya's My Is Like ... Whoa! It's soo damn forward and sexy. "My sex is like, whoa! My ass is like, whoa! My body's like, whoa -- and you're kissing it, so whatcha think of this!" WHOA!!!

I've been playing Mariah's Bringing on the heartbreak and i really hate mariah but i like her take on the def leppard classic. Let the rain come down...17 days....

Wow SynthiaRose, what a coincedence. I am not a huge fan of these guys either, but I love the song Unwell. In fact, I am really warming up to Rob Thomas. He is kind of cute in a quirky sort of way. I just might have to buy this cd. I love the video too. It's fun!

Harlepolis said: I'm digging Beyonce's "Speechless" Speaking of Beyonce, I dig her new album. Her voice sounds amazing. Liquid smooth. I like all the songs, but there's not a stand-out for me on the album yet. Signs is good, though. You probably know this already, but I didn't know Beyonce made a song with T-Boz called "I Can't Help Myself." Damn. I love this and am playing it right now. I'll have to see when this was recorded.

I downloaded it from Grokster. You will love this song! It should have been a bonus song on the album.
Anyway I don't think I can email it to you because the file's too big. [This message was edited Wed Jun 25 13:13:50 PDT 2003 by SynthiaRose]

When I searched Google for lyrics,I found a page that said it a Destiny's Child song.
However, when I downloaded it, the label had T-Boz and Beyonce as the artists and I thought I could distinguish T-Boz's voice. She has that unique deep voice. Let me keep researching this. As far as a review (I'm not good at this): it's a rock-R&B song with guitar in the background. Despite the guitar it's a slow song with a catchy hook : "I can't help myself. I'm in love with you and nobody else. It's real as hell and I can't deny it's how I feel." It's very emotional and Beyonce's delivery is good. The song is 4 minutes and 53 seconds long. Harelepolis:
You are going to kill me. But the labeling on my download is apparently wrong. This is a D.C. song that was not on any of their 3 albums (according to Web research). I don't know when it was made. Listen to it here: http://www.geocities.com/...other.html It doesn't sound dated at all. Anyway, I guess I'm just late being exposed it. Repeat. This is a D.C. song not a duet with T-Boz as my download said. Sorry. Still a good listen though. [This message was edited Wed Jun 25 13:16:20 PDT 2003 by SynthiaRose]

As far as new, it has to Annie Lennox "Pavement Cracks" but I recently took the CD out out of my player becuase I go the new Beyonce, a double hits CD by Fleetwood Mac (only $11.99 and you get all of "Rumours" and more!) and a triple CD set by the Pointer Sisters (nearly all their eighties stuff and a few bonuses).

If Leaving Me Is Easy and You Know What I Mean from Phil Collins album "Face Value" (1981). Wonderful songs and appropriate for those still in love with their ex.
First five songs from Bobby Brown's "Don't Be Cruel" (1988). Especially Roni. Pretty slow jam.
