Now I don't know if you can call this irony or not, but why is MTV is allowed to play Erotica on air, while Justify my love is banned forever from tv ? I own this DVD copy of all of Madonna's videos from back in the day til now, and the other day on Mtv2 I just saw them play the video 2 Erotica right, So then I went back 2 watch the video 2 Justify my love and if you ask me the Erotica video is a hell of alot worst then the Justify my love video. Even the lyrics to the song are more provocative . The way I see it is (without giving away to many details) The Justify my love video was more romantized fantasy, while Erotica was just plain out hardcore sex . I mean there where images of BDSM and everything else, yet Erotica is allowed to be air in the day time, while Justify my love can only be played certain hours of the night, only on VH1 and when there’s only a special on television about the video ….. If you ask me I don’t see why they ban videos in the first place. Should it be up to the viewers to decided what they want to watch and not the censors??
