Ok I guess I should clarify. I Hate Ashanti because she is being shoved down our throats. In reality she has been around a long time. She started when she was what 14? and now that someone has noticed her they ( the PR people) want to saturate the market with her before she burns out like Britney. As for hatin on the others because yes I am black and female, I like Beyounce ( did I spell it right?) I just wish like it was said before she would rely more on talent but I guess she is wantin to be the triple threat like JLO ( singer, actress, dancer) more power to her I ain't mad and yeah she can sang!
JLO is my girl (sorry) but I prefer her as an actress she needs to consentrate on that although I know singing and dancing are her first loves.

She was the tough, take no-shit girl with attitude. I loved that. She seems to be coaxing her image in a different way now that she's with Affleck, whom I can't stand. He's so bland. She's falling out of touch with her urban fuel. Did you hear the shit on the new album. Dear Ben, and that god awful I'm Glad. Puffy would have warned her not to make any stupid shit like that.

The nerve of those people to cast Ashanti as Dionne Warwick. I mean, come on, Dionne Warwick??? Was Ashanti the best they could do? Well in case no one saw it, the pawn of Murder Inc., as I like to call her played Ms. Warwick on American Bandstand and butchered her version of the Bacharach/David classic, "Walk on By". Even worse was Vanessa Carlton as Dusty Springfield but I won't even get into that.
