Soundboard recordings of all Duran Duran concerts! Wouldn't it be cool if Prince did this too?
The Duran Duran Encore Series - a collection of authorized two-CD sets consisting of complete, unedited, live recordings from every performance on the band's historic, 78-03 Japanese tour. Marking the first time Simon, Andy, Nick, John and Roger have performed on stage together since 1985, each of these concerts will be recorded live from the soundboard and released as a "limited edition" double-CD set. Each night's performance will be professionally mastered and manufactured (not a CD-R) and will come in a gatefold package with exclusive artwork, especially designed for the Encore Series and authorized by the band. Wait! The Who also did this for their last US tour! I posted that info a sometime last year after I saw them at the Greek!
I also mentioned how great that would be if Prince would do the same thing. It would defete the bootleggers! Oh well... | |
