Bon Jovi Bounce Tour

Man, im lovin Bon Jovi at the moment, i cant believe their new album Bounce isnt selling. Its much better than Crush and These Days, in fact, its their best CD since New Jersey!

Just saw them live and they rocked!!!

Whats every1s favourite Bon Jovi album???

4 me its New Jersey, simply bcoz of all the cowboy references, i love "Born 2B my Baby", "Wild is the Wind", Blood on Blood", "ill be there 4 u"

Hardly credible, and I haven't liked their music for about 10 years, but I'm going to the Hyde Park gig next Saturday.

I didn't like Bounce. I really liked These Days, Destination Anywhere, and Crush but Bounce just seemed like it was produced in a hurry to capitilize on their popularity.

My all time favorite is Destination Anywhere. (Yes I know its technically a solo album but I don't care big grin )

R u serious, These Days was their worst album, i think Bon Jovi even realise this and they never play any of those songs live! Though i do like hey god, this aint a love song, these days, my guitar lies bleeding, the songs after that are awful!

i think Bounce was great bcoz it had old style Bon Jovi on it like Undivided and Hook me Up, it had the Cowboy song "Right side of Wrong", it had some of their best love songs "All about Lovin u", "you Had me from Hello" and it had uptempo modern stuff like "bounce"(which should b a single)

Well Hearts Breaking Even would probably be my favorite Bon Jovi song of all time big grin.

i saw BonJovi at the RUMBA pop festival in melbourne in dec 2002.
waited all day,& i literally mean ALL DAY on my feet for them 2 do a 50min set at 9:30pm.
was worth every minute the waiting!

Bounce just sounds like 12 hits instead of 12 songs.
& these days anything which sounds like it was made 2 b a hit single just doesnt hit me like it did whne i was a kid.

no doubt KeepTheFaith & Jersey r their best...
tho my fave album these days is 7800Farenheit.
that sound...u know the sound i mean of songs like Farenheit,She Dont Know Me,If I Was Your Mother,Runaway,WildIsTheWind... etc...
that kinda stuff is my fave Jovi...driving at midnite thru the city with your heart pounding over a girl or whatever the matter is in your life at that point...
OnlyLonely,HardestPartIsTheNight etc...

Bounce is probably not in my top5 Joi albums... i mean All About Lovin' U is just so made 4 pop radio its not funny!
the highlights on Bounce 4 me r: Bounce,Distance,Had me From Hello,Everyday,Hook Me Up & the B*Side "Another Reason 2 Believe" is the best song from the sessions.
pity it isnt on the album as it would make it an improvement.
it sounds like the twin brother of Something To Believe In.

i have Destination Anywhere but have hardly listened 2 it.
Bon Jovi r Jon,Richie tico & dave...
Jon's solo sound is totally different.

i think BonJovi really excel LIVE!
nothing better than watching a BonJovi live video or listening 2 some live bootlegs or even being there at front row of a stadium filled with 40,000 fans!
if u can,get a hold of the Evening With BonJovi MTV video.
just them in a lil tv studio when KeepTheFaith came out...
Jon's voice was never better & the band is so fucking tight!
i nabbed it 2nd hand,in perfect codition & its still my fave live music video.
one of my alltime fave bands... justa pity they r writing 3-5min hits instead of the epics like Living In Sin,Bed Of Roses, & some of the stuff on These Days (which has grown on me l8ly)

top5 Jovi albums: (in order)

KeepTheFaith
7800 Farenheit
Jersey
SlipperyWhenWet
These Days

top10 BonJovi songs:

  • If I Was Your Mother
  • You Give Love A Bad Name
  • Bed Of Roses
  • Living On A Prayer (when Jovi did this at RUMBA my friends were near the sydney bushfires & all i thought of was them. the studio acoustic version is beautiful!)
  • Wild In The Wind
  • She Dont Know me (they didnt write this, its on the 1st LP,but god it drives me nuts!)
  • Hardest Part Is The Night
  • Edge Of A Broken Heart (b*side of a 90s single but im sure it is from around 86-88.)
  • Sleep When I'm Dead (live @ Wembley when they jammed this with PapaWasARollingStone was killer!!!)
  • Bad Medicine

    hon. mention:
  • Born2beMyBaby
  • Only Lonely
  • Secret Dreams
  • Rosie (on Richie's album but Jon co-wrote it & i have the NewJersey demo with Jon on vocals = headbang )
..... & so so many many more!

they've given me some amazing music & songs that r a part of my life.
headbang ROCK ON BON JOVI! headbang

ps: they do some of the best covers i have ever heard: Little Help From My Friends.....Fever.....Rocking In A Free World.....Shooting Star.....SHOUT!

All About Lovin U is a song i NEVER liked!
that programmed beat at the start is just horrible 2 cope with.
pandering 2 commercial radio which is something i wish Jovi wouldnt do.
i believe they r better than that & should just do their next album live in the studio just 2 get away from this over-produced sound which is becoming a trademark of their's.

btw... Joey was a great song.the story is cool 2 listen 2.

their 'story' songs r beautiful.

ps: did u know that Diamond Ring (a fave from theseDays) was meant 4 NewJersey?... the demo is out there somewhere)

Bon jovi is one of the worst groups ever.Their entire career is built on two songs: a power ballad & an uptempo-hands-in-the-air-with-sing-a-long-chorus rock ditty. Sure, they were fun in the 80's but they're still stuck there...it's time 2 move on...

I'm not a Bon Jovi fan at all. He is damn cute though. I haven't liked a single song that I've heard in over 10 years. His ballads make me puke they are so sugary sweet.
