1. Hail to the Thief - Radiohead
Once again, a classic. Their 5th in a row.

Any justice, it will win the Grammy for Album of the Year. Intense, beautiful, personal... a thrilling record.

3. The Other Side of Time - Mary Fahl
Amazing voice. Solo album from former October Project singer.

4. Elephant - White Stripes
ROCKS

5. Say You Will - Fleetwood Mac
Great collection of top-notch pop songs

White Stripes "Elephant"
Annie Lennox "Bare"
Isley Brothers "Body Kiss"
Madonna "American Life"
Jody Wately "Midnight Lounge"

I didn't buy many new albums this year seeing as not very much really came out. Seriously? I bought R Kelly's latest but didn't get into it very much. I liked Fleetwood Mac's new one but I don't know. Really like the new Luther but don't dig it as much as the new Annie. Hopefully the second part of the year wil be better. My fav last year was "Heathen" by Bowie and I'm counting on something good this year too.

I just changed the Dannii Minogue album I didn't own to Jody's ML, which I loved when I got and still dig. Very hot!

1. Annie Lennox- Bare

This will be my album of the year.

2. Madonna- American Life

Solid, profound, astounding album with a lot of raw emotion.

3. Dannii Minogue- Neon Nights

Great summer album- very fun!

4. Prince- NEWS

Need I say more?

5. Eurythmics- Rarities

This isn't out yet, but once it is released, it may eclipse even "Bare."

I figured it was unfiar to list albums I didn't have becuase if that were the case, I think all my things might be different. Bowie would be there and maybe Prince (if I can get that CD) so I put Jody's "Midnight Lounge" which is hot. Where did you get Danni's "Neon NIghts"? Was it a good price?

Sigh. I haven't bought any new CDs this year, except one.

David Ryan Harris - Atlanta

But it DEFINITELY tops my list.

I'm impressed that so many people have that album and picked it (well 3 but still). Have you heard any parts of the Lauryn Hill or Mary J album or are you being presumptuous? smile

I cant believe I forgot CYCLORAMA on my top five.
What an amazing CD, this CD shows to these young punk wannabe bands like all the Linkin Parks, good charolettes and all that garbage. Leave Rock N ROLL to the veterans and people who respect the ROOTS of Rock and ROll
