According to J Records...The SUPERSTAR SOUL CROONER 'Luther Vandross' has just been released from the hospital this week...his spokesperson said "Its a Miracle"...Luther was rushed to the hospital on April 16th due to a stroke, the singer was found several hours after suffering from heart failure at his New York residence and spent more than a month in a coma.

Luther's Mom has been spending these last several weeks on different entertainment shows as E.T., Access Hollywood and The Early Show promoting her superstar son's latest project 'Dance With My Father'(#1 on Next Weeks Billboard Top 200 Charts- 6/23) which is an ode to the celebrity's deceased father whom passed when he was just 7years old.

Surprised that Luther would even remember his father as clearly, even more shocked he'd suffer a stroke just weeks prior to releasing his most personal piece of work yet detailing his desire to meet his dead father once again.

Other major artist(s): Aretha Franklin, Pattie Labelle along with millions of fans sending their love and positivity of prayer, Luther is finally BACK!!! & thou it will take time for the r&b star to heal and build up his strength, both his family and J Records are optimistic he'll return even more stronger with a testament to tell through his new found glory.

Luther is a great singer and I am really happy to hear that he is getting stronger every day. It would've been a shame to lose him. Lets hope he's back on the road again soon singing his heart out like he always does.

I was so excited to hear the news today, that Luther was released from the hospital and will begin rehabitation, but whats a great gift for his 'back to health' process is that he will have the #1 record in the country on the pop charts next week and the album is awesome...I have so many great memories of Luther growing up as a kid, hearing his wonderful music played around the house...the 80's sure was a great period for soul music!
