Hey...does anyone know if there are any plans to (hopefully soon) remaster Springsteen's catalog? Will they, I hope, be SACD/CD hybrids??? I need Nebraska and Darkness on the Edge of Town in good sound!!!

I'm surprised that they haven't already remastered Springsteen's catalog.

I just found out today that Springsteen's stadium tour is making a stop in Milwaukee in September so hopefully he will make another Minnesota visit. If not I will be making the trek to Milwaukee.

I'm not 100 percent sure that Nebraska will sound that much better even with a remaster as those songs are basically demos.

But yeah we need remasters.

Possibly next year, what with Dylan's back catalogue FINALLY getting the overhaul. All of the albums up to and including "Tunnel" frankly NEED a good sonic overhaul. Dunno how they're going to do it with "Nebraska" because the original master tape was the C90 Bruce taped the album on. Guess they'll just have to use the "Lost Masters" boot of the complete sessions: the sound was a LOT clearer than on the official release.

but sometimes albums like that sound better when they r less polished.
