Dylan remasters!!!! Oh baby...I just found out (belatedly, I know...fuck you!) that Sony is releasing 15 classic Dylan albums on hybrid SACD/CD format in August! Holy fucking shit...they're rumored to have the sound quality of the Rolling Stones remasters that kicked my ass this past fall, even on standard CD players. Oh my fucking god...to have Nashville Skyline in decent sound...oh lord almighty holy fucking shitfuck... "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Bob Dylan's voice... | |

His music goes far deeper than the "sound" of his voice. There is a reason that he's commonly recognized as one of the most important songwriters EVER. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Then, The Bootleg Series Volume 6, a live show from 1964...Carnegie Hall I believe...will be released on hybrid SACD/CD in October. Almost all of my favorite Dylan albums are on that list! I'm pretty much already shitting in my pants! The word is that they sound fabulous...just like the Stones remasters of last fall...oh baby... Some people just don't get Bob. I don't know why. He sings with such passion and he is (IMO) the greatest lyricist ever! I am so happy to hear about the remasters. Those that don't get Bob, you go back to listening to Justin Timberlake and Mariah Carey

I'll be buying them all. ASAP! If only Prince would get his shit remastered...but that's a whole 'nother story... "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Some Dylan trivia:
Bet you didn't know that one of Bob Dylan's ex-wives is a black woman who used to be one of his backup singers. They had a daughter together, and she's a teenager now. Her name is Desiree Dylan. ![]()

Yes I did, actually. Carolyn Dennis. He wrote an unreleased song about their relationship called "Let's Keep It Between Us" and performed on the 1980/81 tour.

Blood on the tracks is a masterpiece. I listen to this cd the most I think. Every song makes my heart ache and some even bring tears. I just love Bob. I hope he continues to put out music until the day he dies. He's definitely one the our greatest musicians.
