Lollapalooza? should I or shouldn't I ? My daughter wants to go she's 15 and loves Incubus I am thinking of taking her but haven't been to any Festival type concerts since the 80's soo what do ya think???

Well, besides the bare breasts, foul language and marijuana galore, she should be fine! If you were planning on taking her, I say go ahead. It would be a good time to explain to her about marijuana and other drugs and public nudity for women. In 2-3 years she will be going to these places with friends and "actin the fool" so you might as well try to teach her right from wrong before she learns then. well... i guess it depends what you like. Yes, Janes will be there. Incubus will be there. Queens of the Stone Age will be there and they rock your socks off. Jurassic 5 are cool. Steve-O from Jackass can provide some sick humor (if you are into that whole stapling your scrotum to your leg thing). If it is at an amplitheatre and you get lawn seats then you should be fine. It depends on what kind of place they are playing at. Is it General Admission or are there seats? I was 15 when I went to all of that stuff and I was fine. Your daughter already knows what tits look like and what marijuana is...it's no big secret! And I don't know about other places, but the arenas around me are very strict now. You can't even really party in the parking lots anymore. I wouldn't worry about it...and with Janes Addiction playing the crowd will be all ages. Go and have fun! You can always leave if you're having a bad time! | |

The show is at an Ampitheater and I was going to get lawn seating. They have reserved seating and GA but I think I'll just stick to the lawn. Thanks for the encouragement I appreciate it...now I just have to buy the tickets...
